Italian Vacanza

See, taste, and experience La Dolce Vita as we visit ancient ruins, blend cathedral viewing with wine tasting and renaissance masterpieces, wander timeless cities, and view world-class art, architecture, and landscapes.

Explore Venice on a Grand Canal Cruise through the heart of the city. Wander through Piazza and Basilica San Marco in daylight, cross the famous bridges—Bridge of Sighs and Rialto Bridge — and end the evening with live music and drinks in the piazza.

Day 2

Train through the beautiful Tuscan countryside into Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Take in some of Florence's top art works such as Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus' and Michelangelo's 'David'. View Brunalleschi's revolutionary dome (maybe even climb to the top!). Stop for a bite (or more) at the Mercado Centrale.

Day 4

Begin the adventure in Venice, the Floating City. Get to know your traveling companions over a welcome dinner and private night tour of Basilica San Marco.

Day 1

Train into Rome, the Eternal City. Stroll through the Dolce Vita walk and make a wish at the Trevi Fountain. Get to the know the city on a Secret Food Tour.

Day 6

Take the morning for independent exploring and soaking in the art of Florence. Then, take an afternoon watercolor class to create your own artwork. End the evening with a Tuscan sunset (and shopping!) on the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge.

Day 5

See the amazing sites of ancient Rome by visiting the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, and more! History will come alive by night with the Caesar’s Forum Stroll and Forum of Augustus Show.

Day 8

Use the morning for independent sightseeing to catch your must-sees of Venice. Spend the afternoon touring the colorful Burano Island. Say “buona notte” on a magical Gondola ride.

Day 3

Spend the day immersed in the historic and religious beauty of Vatican City, the smallest country in the world. Visit Saint Peter's Basilica and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, tour the beautiful gardens, and see world renowned art works at the Vatican museum.

Day 7

Wish "salude" over one last cup of espresso or gelato before the transatlantic flight home.
